Craft Dragon and the silhouette Cameo

Here is my first project using my new craft dragon and the cameo. I thought I jazz up this plain old t-shirt with some vinyl and rhinestones. I have got the silhouette studio designer edition which allows you to convert any image to a rhinestone template. I love this Eiffel tower image so i thought i would change it into rhinestones, the soft ware even tells you how many stones it will use.

I then used this great vintage font to spell Paris, but I left out the a. I used some t-shirt vinyl that I got off eBay.

While I was preparing these bits I had the craft dragon heating ready to fix the items, for the vinyl the dragon needs to be on quite a hot setting and takes about 30 secs to stick. I fixed the vinyl first it has to be cool before you peel off the backing. Then I placed my Eiffel tower in to position and turned the heat down it only takes 15 seconds for the rhinestones to set and again they need to cool before the backing is removed.

Here is the finished project my new t-shirt

Deep Box Frame Decoupage

My son Dale is leaving home next week to move in with his lovely finacee Emma, and as a little house warming gift I thought I would do something home made. As Emma adores Peter Rabbit I got out my crafter's companion cd and printed some of the lovely decoupage.

I found the deep box frames at the range and they are fantastic I love them, they really do show off your decoupage.

I took the glass out of the frames to photograph as it was reflecting too much

As the frames do not come with a mount and the toppers are all different sizes I use coordinations card as a backing and stuck down the topper and edged it with a sticky love heart border.

I do hope they like them.

Tulip and Friends DVD

I was browsing through my new docrafts disk and found this little cutie, who is perfect for my little neice Kira who turned 10 this week

I love the circle easel cards, in this one I used liquid pearls, which I have trouble with as i keep creating peaks.

Sorry the photos are quite poor, I have used the new cheery lyn lace corner dye they are really pretty and delicate. I usee my mini xyron to make them sticky as there isnt alot of surface for wet glue.

Thankyou for looking

Birthday Card

Back to a card this week and another digistamp boutique image, its Alf fishing and hes a great image to colour and makes a great Male card.

I made the tickets using the kanban stamp set, which are great because you can change the sentiment to suit.

Although you can not see it in the picture I used glossy accents on the fishes eye and its really pops. The image has been coloured with promarkers and I used my new tim holtz distressing tool around the papers.

Scrapbook

Here are two more pages from my scrapbook, this page is our day out at peirrefonds castle which is were the BBC film Merlin. It is a beautiful castle and set in the most gorgeous landscape.

and this was our day out at Hitlers Bunker Wolf Gorge II, this was a fasinating visit and the guides were great at telling the story of hitlers only visit to France during the second world war.

Both days were really good, well worth a visit.
Ive still got a few more pages to do but i might put it away for a couple of weeks, as I have some cards to get on with.

My First Scrapbook

Well thought I would give scrapbooking a go and decided to do a whole album, lol I must be mad. Although its a small album I did discover that it would be easier to plan on full sized 12 x 12 pages. Oh well here are my first pages.

This is my cover and the theme is our holiday to France last year, I have used a chipboard papermania album and have designed all my project on craft artist.

I blended my photo onto the backing paper on this page in craft artist and stamped the Eiffel tower and bits using Artemio stamp set. I used my silhouette cameo to cut the fonts on this page.

I carried on with the same style on this page to but also added Polaroid style snaps. Well thats it for now hopefully will have some more for next week.

Mother's Day Easel Card

I just love the new grand calibre for cutting larger shapes, as they are perfect for your card base and then all your regular sized dies fit perfectly in the middle.

The papers I have used are a downloaded pack from nitwits (a breath of fresh air) and the digital stamp is from digistamp boutique. I coloured the image with aqua promarkers and added some bling for the centres.

The little senitment is printed and die cut with a memory box die.
