Joanna Sheen Ivory Cats (Lesley Anne Ivory)

Well I've made this card for my sister to wish her congratulations on receiving an award at college, she is on a animal based course and love's cats so I thought this would be purrfect.

I have printed of a topper and the backing paper from ivory cats, there so many to choose from I spent more time looking than making lol. I have used a 8"x8" card and layered the backing paper and topper on some holographic pink mirri card. Then I attached some ribbon before i stuck it to the base and I tied the bow seperate which took me ages even with a bow shaper. For the butterfly I usee a docrafts diemension punch and cut it away from the mirri card and placed it so that the cat is looking at it and added some flat back gems to add bit of glitz.

This photo shows the mirri card off

Thankyou for looking

Quick Cards

Messy Rabbit

These are great stamps for quick cards, as they stamp lovely and don't need much colouring. The card stock is bazzill basic prescored A6 card. The backing paper is from a forever friends papar pack and ribbon and buttons are from my stash. I cut out the rabbit and used foam pads and placed them direct to the card and I just used a corner punch on one corner and stamped a sentiment.

I am really busy with work commitments at present so havent been blogging or crafting as much as I like. So this is a really quick blog before I go on redrotties weekend blog hop.

Thank you for looking.

"Less is More Colour" Week 14 Challenge White on White

This has been a tricky one, but it certainly gets the old grey matter working. I have my cuttlebug and silhouette to thank for this project.

My silhouette was used to cut out I heart u, I used the outlined feature to create a layer. I then embossed the top layer in the cuttlebug with the swiss dots folder.

For the base card I embossed two lines down the centre and then embossed either side with a heart embossing folder (country companions)

Update: I cut a A6 peice of card to do the embossing on both sides then stuck it to a A6  prescored card

I must admit photographing this card was a big challenge too.

Forever Friends Wedding Card

I Have made this card for the FF challenge over on docrafts,

My cardstock is a craft work scalloped card and my backing paper is from New Edition Spring feast. I have stamp the image on to coordinations card cream of wheat and used water colour pencils to colour the cheeks and noses etc. I then paper pieced the hat and veil.

I am not very good with bows but I wanted to give it a real flowing style and this is my attempt.

I added stickles for a bit of glitz, but it seem to have an effect on the ink I used for the stamp. I chalked around the edges and added some rosed and a sentiment.
