"me to you"

I got my first tatty teddy stamp on saturday and I am really pleased with how it stamps and colours. I have the country companions and didnt really get on with those. Any way here is my first attempt.

The papers are tatty teddy too, the sentiment is from tulip but co-ordinates perfectly.

I coloured him with promarkers cool grey 2 and artic blue for his nose, I used glossy accents to give his nose a little shine. I was'nt to sure what to use for his eyes but in the end I used a black promarker fine liner.

I am dedicating this post to my Mum who I lost 3 years ago today, I miss her more and more as time goes by.

So here is my card to you Mum, Love and miss you loads xxx

My First Lili of the Valley

This is one of the stamps I got from the Birmingham NEC last month, I have coloured it with promarkers and added some glitter for the flour and some glossy accents on the egg.

The Happy Birthday Bunting has been cut using my silhouette machine and I stamped the happy birthday with a little alphabet stamp set I got from Dunelm Mill

My Stamped Sentiment is one of the new lili of the valley  clear additions stamps and I used tim holtz worn lipstick distress ink around the edges

Less is More Challenge week 11 Theme acetate

Well I saw these little monsters on digi stamp boutique today and could not resist them, I thought they would be perfect for the less is more challenge this week. As the theme was acetate I decided to put one of the little monsters behind a acetate window.

I printed my new digi monsters on to card and coloured them with  promarkers, then cut them out.

I used the cuttlebug to cut the aperture in the card stock and again to cut out my acetate window which I stuck with photo glue and then pop a little monster behind. To glue my monster i just glued the edges that would not be seen through the window with the photo glue

I then stamped a Happy Birthday sentiment straight to the card and added some faux stitching around the window to finish.

Digital Stamp Boutique "I was a Winner"

I was very delighted to find out that i was  a winner of the March Giveaway at Digital Stamp Boutique, here is a card featuring the digi stamp that I won.

I have used a craft work scalloped card as my base, The backing paper is from pink petticoat sweet flourishes in stone. I used oval nestibilities for the topper and distress the edges with tim holtz antique linen ink. Bella and Oscar have been coloured with promarkers and I used glamour dust to give Bellas dress a bit of glitz.

I have used glossy accents on all the pink bits. Unfortunately the camera has not picked it up. Just to finish the card i have added some flat back pearls and used my silhouette to cut a little corner piece.

Pink Petticoat Sweet Treat Digi Stamp

This weeks challenge at simply less is more  is a touch of red, I thought I would give my new digi stamp from pink petticoat a go.

I have used a poppy red promarker to add a touch of red to the cherries and the little strawberry on this gorgeous digi stamp then I used a quickie glue pen to add a bit of glamour dust

I used a rectangle nestibility to cut and emboss my stamp then i drew around the same shape onto red card and cut it by hand as i only wanted a small border of red to show

I have used a sentiment from a inkadinkado stamp set straight to the card.
