Forever Friends Black and Gold CD

A Quick Post for a Quickie Card

This card I have made is from the Forever Friends Black and Gold CD. I have used Papermania kraft cardstock, I printed some patterned paper, corners, topper and a sentiment from the cd.

It was very quick and easy to put together................................

I finished the card of with some faux stitching around the topper and along the border and stamped some butterflies randomly to fill in the blank spaces.

Pink Petticoat digi stamp and papers

The digi stamp and paper i have used for this card are from pink petticoat, the backing paper is daisy bouquet in daffodil and the cute image is Henrietta. My card stock is papermania and I have used the sketch that is on the "less is more" challenge blog this week.

I used a fiskars punch to create a border on plain white paper, then I matted the daisy bouquet paper on top. For the topper I used a scalloped nestibilite die on co-ordinations card stock, I printed Henrietta on to plain white card and die cut and embossed her too. I have decoupaged her dress and bow and coloured her with promarkers.

Too finish off I added Glamour dust to the heart and dots and stamped a sentiment.

Alf DSB Digi Stamp

Heres a Male card, I have used a digi stamp from digital stamp boutique called Alf with beer. The backing papers digital too from the clipart fairies shop and they have printed really well. I have coloured Alf with promarkers.

I then add some glitter to the froth on his pint. I paper pieced his shirt with some of the backing paper.
I then popped some blue flat back pearls in to the corners.

The sentiment is a stamp set from personnel impressions and cut with a nestie

Japanese Tilda

Week 98 favourite colour combo

I have been inspired to make this card following the terrible events in Japan. As I was making the card my thoughts were with all the survivors of the quake and tsunami, who now face starting there lives over with the further complications of a possible nuclear meltdown. It make you realise how lucky we are.

I have used Magnolia's Japenese tilda and coloured her with promakers and added glamour dust to give a little sparkle. The papers are V&A Hanoverian linen pack which are beautiful to work with. I distressed with Tim Holtz antique linen. The sketch i used was from the magnolia challenge for last week but I didnt manage to get my card completed in time to enter. But I have entered for this weeks as it is my favourite colour to craft with.

For the doily which is a sakura flower and the circle i used my silhouette sd machine, i then distressed again in antique linen. I stamped around the circle a small leaf in distress ink just to add a little extra definition.

I punched the little flowers from a tiny docraft punch and added a little rhinestone to each one.

Week 6 One Layer Card - "Off the Edge"

I am loving this new blog "Less is more". It is quite hard to keep things simple and too now when to stop adding stuff.

This week its one layer only and off the edge, I have use a inkadinkado stamp set and stamped flowers off the edge of the card, then I stamped the birds off the the edge too. The bird cage is from my silhouette subscription and i used the silhouette print and cut feature to create it. I stuck it down also over the edge of the card and trimmed the excess. I have used aqua promarkers to colour the flowers and the birds. Finally I used a quickie glue pen and glamour dust to add some sparkle to the flowers and stamped a sentiment straight to the page.

Pamperd Pets andrea jayne

I just love these pampered pet stamps from docrafts they are so gorgeous.

For this card I have used the freebie papers that came with the creativity magazine which are from the pampered pets range. I stamped the image on white card and ran it through the cuttlebug to get the embossed circle then stamped again on patteren paper and cut out just the handbag and paper pieced it on. I stamped the image once more on pink paper to decoupage the rose. Using Tim Holtz tattered rose I inked around the circle, then just added some sparkle with pink stickles on the tiara, necklace and clasp. Then with the same paper as the hand bag, I cut a strip for the bottom of the card and drew free hand  lines around twice with a promarker fine writer pen and just stamped a sentiment direct to the paper.
